Coatings get specified. The booth gets neglected until orange peel shows up on a 10% matt. We stock the parts that sit between the formula and the film so you are not waiting on a filter while catalysed mix skins in the pot.

Spray equipment and accessories

Viscosity cups belong in this list. If the data sheet gives a range, time it. Spray booth setup is the longer version of that sentence.

Abrasives

Mirka rolls, sheets, belts, discs, strips, sponges and wire wool, plus the PPS mixing system used in professional booths. Grit jumps show through dead matt faster than through semi gloss. Ask for the sequence we see on the system you are spraying, not a generic start at 120.

Health, safety and polishing

• Gloves, overalls, face masks and air-fed masks
• Sanding and polishing creams, foam pads and specials

Catalysed and isocyanate products are not optional-PPE jobs. Read the SDS for the hardener on the bench and the REACH training note if diisocyanates are in the mix.

Decorator and booth sundries

Measuring jugs, viscosity cups, masking tape, brown paper, wipes, tak rags, lint-free cloths, paint stripper, brush cleaner, Propeel, booth additives, white spirit and empty containers. Waterborne lines need the wash meant for waterborne — solvent gun wash in that gun is a week of fisheye.
